KX 85 Reed Conversion

We found that this modification gives us over 2bhp and increases top end breathing as can be seen by the Dyno charts

Afterall a 172 engine should never of had a 50cc reedvalve fitted in the first place!

You give us your cases we`ll do the following:

  • Fill behind the inlet tract and oil feed holes with aluminium filler. 
  • Mill the inlet tract wider and taller to fit the new reed valve.
  • Make custom gaskets for the new conversion
  • Shorten the original Vacuum Spigot to suit the conversion
  • Gas flow the cases for Road or Race specification (Race + £80)
  • Supply genuine Keihn 28-30mm Carb and jet kit £150  (Cheaper options available)
  • Supply V Force 3 Reed Valve £129
  • Supply Kundo adjustable inlet rubber £16
  • Supply genuine K&N air filter £30
  • Labour £270
